Analysis, through a qualitative case study, of attitudes and perceptions of college faculty who are beginning to teach online, in order to understand their perceived learning needs. Results of this study are expected to increase the knowledge about the relationship between perceived and real learning needs, as well as the identification of key criteria for designing training courses that consider both types of needs in order to help faculty succeed in their transition from traditional teaching to the online format.
